Report an issue
Send a bug report or an idea from inside Obsidian, or ask for help on Discord.
You can send a bug report or an idea to the Atlas team from inside Obsidian, without a GitHub account.
Send a report
Open Obsidian's command palette with Ctrl + P (Cmd + P on macOS) and run Atlas VTT: Report an issue…. You can also open Obsidian Settings, then Atlas VTT, and click Report an issue under Help and feedback.
Choose the Issue type and the Area.
Write a Title and fill in the text fields. Tell us what happened and the steps that lead to it.
The Report an issue form. Click Submit report.
Atlas sends the report and shows the number of the new issue. Click View issue to open it on GitHub.
To send an idea, click Suggest a feature under Help and feedback, or choose Feature request as the issue type.
What the report includes
Atlas adds your Atlas, Obsidian and Electron versions, your operating system, the interface language and the theme. Open Environment details that will be included to see them before you send.
Two switches let you leave out more:
- Include enabled community plugins: the names and versions of your other plugins.
- Include recent Atlas errors: error messages from this session, without file paths or note content.
Atlas never adds vault names, file paths, note contents or map data.
If sending fails
The form keeps your text and shows an error. Try again from the same form, or click Copy report to keep a copy of your text. Do not close the form before you save your text.
Ask on Discord
In the Atlas Discord community you can ask for help and share ideas, and you hear about new releases first. The Join Discord button under Help and feedback opens it too.
