Show an image to your players
Show a handout, a portrait or a scene picture full screen in the player view.
You can put any image from your vault in front of your players, for example a handout or a portrait, and take it away again.
Show an image
Right-click the image and choose Display on player view. You can do this in three places:
- On an image file in the file explorer.
- On an embedded image in a note, while you edit the note.
- On an image that is open in a tab. Here you can also run the Obsidian command Display image on player view, or click the monitor icon Display image on player view in the ribbon.
The image appears over the map in the player view. If you show another image, it replaces the first one.
Atlas supports PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP, SVG and WebP images.
Look closer
In the player view, turn the mouse wheel to zoom in or out and drag the image to move it. Double-click to reset the zoom and position.
Take the image away
Run the Obsidian command Dismiss image from player view, and the map shows again. In the player view itself, you can also click the × button, click the dark area around the image, or press Esc.
