Players and their tokens
Give each player their character, keep their seat from session to session and take a seat back.
Players at an online table move only the tokens you give them. Everything else on the map stays yours. A player keeps their character and their seat for the whole campaign, so you set this up once.
Give a player their character
Open the online panel with the globe button at the bottom left of the map.
On the map, select the token of the player's character.
At the foot of the panel, click Assign and choose the player.
Select the fighter's token and give it to its player.
The player's row in the panel now shows the token's face, and the player can move it. More tokens of the same player are listed under their name. You can also select tokens first, then open the menu of a player in the list and click Assign selected tokens here.
Place your party's tokens from the Tokens tab of the Asset Manager. A player who gets a token placed from the library gets that character: every token of it, on every scene of the campaign, at this table and the next.
To take a token back, open the player's menu and choose Release with the token's name, for example Release Fighter. Release all takes back all their tokens.
Player tokens
Atlas counts the tokens of your party as player tokens. The panel lists the player tokens that belong to nobody yet under Not assigned, so you see who still needs a character.
To make other tokens player tokens, such as a hireling or a pet, select them and click Make player tokens at the foot of the panel. Unmark turns them back into your own tokens.
Personal codes
Every player you admit gets a personal code of six digits. With it, they join the next session at once, from any device, without the join code and without a card for you to admit.
Open the menu of a player in the panel to manage their seat:
- Copy code copies their code, for a player who lost it.
- New code gives them a new code. The old one stops working.
- Rename… changes the name the table shows.
- Remove from table sends them away for this session. They can come back with their code.
- Remove from campaign takes their seat away. Their code stops working.
To seat a player before they join, click Add player and type their name. Atlas shows the code they join with. Send it to them with the invite link.
A table has up to 12 seats.
Make a new link
The invite link stays the same for every session of the campaign. If it got into the wrong hands, open the menu next to Copy invite link and click New link. The old link stops working, so send the new one to your players.
