Update
Atlas VTT 0.10.0
Dungeon generator, map layers and random encounters
New
New Feature: Dungeon Generator
- Generate multi-layer Dungeons from the asset manager or directly through the pin tool on a scene
- 16 different styles, 3 themes, animated water, lava, acid and automatic placement of walls, doors and lighting.
New Feature: Map Layers
- Maps can now have multiple layers
- Switch between layers with a layer switch panel on the left of each scene
New Feature: Random Encounters
- Use the note pin tool to pin a folder of premade encounters in a dungeon room
- Left clicking the pin will spawn a random encounter from your pinned folder
- The Encounter Builder now allows random creature counts such as 2d4 Wolves etc.
General
- Notes can now be created through the note pin tool
- Generators: a note table whose rows are parts rolls them into one result, with a reroll and a lock per part, Give for results with a Type and Save as note; a link to a generator rolls all of it
- A random table row that links its own table rolls that table again without itself, for rows such as "Mithral + reroll"
- Animated maps: WebM and MP4 videos play as maps, on the map and in the player window; Animate maps in Atlas' settings shows their first frame instead
- Replace map image: put a video, a gridless version or a larger export of the same map in its place, keeping the grid, walls, lights and tokens
Improved
- Improved performance of Dynamic Lighting and the look of light reflections off of walls and map floors
- Atlas command palette now has max and min width to accommodate for varied setup
- Import a building's Universal VTT files together as one scene with a floor each
Fixed
- Tags removed in an asset's Manage Tags dialog are removed from it
- Fixed issue where Atlas would crash with third party Atlas plugins installed
- A token exactly at the edge of a light's reach, such as one standing next to a token carrying a 5 ft light, no longer counts as lit from one side and unlit from another. Inside magical darkness it no longer gets its sight back
- One-way walls no longer show a thick black line where they stop a light
